  • Day 01 Arrival at Dimapur Airport (DMU)/ Dimapur Railway Station (DMV) – Kohima  

Kohima (4737 Ft / 1444 Mts, 78 Kms / 03 Hrs drive approx)

Meet & greet upon arrival at Dimapur Airport (DMU)/ Dimapur Railway Station (DMV), and then transfer to Kohimal. Upon arrival at Kohima, checkin to the hotel. Overnight at Kohima.

 

  • Day 02 Kohima – Excursion to Khonoma village – Kohima     

Khonoma Village (5317 Ft / 1621 Mts,  25 Kms / 01 to 1 ½ Hrs drive approx)

After breakfast excursion to Khonoma Village, that lies 21 kms away from Kohima town the Khonoma village is the first “green village” of Nagaland. The village is well known for the legendary leader Angami Zapu Phizo who was the founder of the Naga movement.

After lunch visit The Kohima War Cemetery (Closed on Sunday) constructed in the memory of the officers and soldiers who made supreme sacrifices during World War II, the war cemetery attracts hundreds of visitors every year including the relatives of those martyrs. Maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, the cemetery witnessed more than 2000 graves, on each grave there are beautiful epitaphs carved in bronze. “When You Go Home, Tell Them Of Us And Say, For Your Tomorrow, We Gave Our Today”. Also visit Museum and Cathedral Church. Overnight stay at hotel.

 

  • Day 03 Kohima – Kaziranga

Kaziranga National Park (197 Ft / 60 Mts, 260 Kms / 06-07 Hrs drive approx)

After breakfast check out and proceed to Kaziranga. Upon arrival at Kaziranga, checkin to the hotel. Overnight at Kaziranga.

 

  • Day 04 Kaziranga – Local Sightseeing – Kaziranga

Kaziranga National Park (197 Ft / 60 Mts)

After breakfast go for Optional : Elephant Ride / Jeep Safari (subjected to availability & operational condition) to one Range. After lunch go for Optional : Jeep Safari (subjected to availability & operational condition) to the other Range. Visit Kaziranga National Orchid And Biodiversity Park (Subjected to time availability & operational condition). Overnight at Kaziranga.

  2. Entry ticket & Jeep safari are all regulated and controlled by the forest Dept. Govt. of Assam. We do not have any control on the booking of entry ticket & Jeep safari.
  3. Elephant rides are conducted and controlled by the forest department. We cannot confirm the same in advance. The ticket counter for booking opens only in the evening, one day prior to the ride. Only after securing the tickets, we can confirm the ride for you.

 

  • Day 05 Kaziranga – Dirang (Long Drive)

Dirang (5120 Ft / 1560 Mts, 160 Kms / 08 to 09 Hrs drive approx)

After early breakfast drive to Dirang. En route at Tipi visit Orchid Center and enroute visit Sessa Orchid Sanctuary (Blooming time is from end March till May). Check into the hotel. Overnight at Dirang.

 

  • Day 06 Dirang Full day Sightseeing   

Dirang (5120 Ft / 1560 Mts)

Today after breakfast visit Mandela Top. Back to Dirang & visit Dirang Monastery. Break for lunch. After lunch go for excursion to Sangti Valley. Back to hotel and overnight at Dirang.

 

  • Day 07 Dirang – Tawang

Tawang (10000 Ft / 3048 Mts, 160 Kms / 06 to 07 Hrs drive approx

After breakfast, proceed to Tawang (140km) – the land of Monpa Tribes and major centre of the Mahayana Buddhists. On the way to Tawang lies the world’s second highest pass – Se la Pass (13700ft) which run through a small ridge & along a lake called Se la Lake. And visit Jaswantgarh – a memorial to the brave soldier who single handedly tried to hold of approaching Chinese during the 1962 Chinese aggression. Upon arrive check in to hotel. Over night at Tawang.

 

  • Day 08 Tawang- Local Monastery – Tawang

Tawang (10000 Ft / 3048 Mts)

After breakfast, today visit Tawang Monastery – The Famous GadenNamgyalLhatse, popularly known as Tawang Monastery was founded by Merak Lama LodreGyatso in the year 1680-81. The monastery stands on the spur of a hill, about 10,000 feet above sea level and has ravines in the south and west, narrow ridge on the north and gradual slope on the east. It offers a commanding and picturesque view of the Tawang-chu valley. From a distance it appears like a fort as if guarding the votaries in the wide valley below. Tawang monastery is the largest of its kind in the country and is one of the largest t monasteries in Asia. Though it has the capacity for housing about seven hundred monks, the actual number of resident lamas (monks) at present is a little more than 450. This monastery is the fountain-head of the spiritual life of the people of this region. Also visit Urgelling Monastery – the birth place of Sixth Dalia Lama. After a late lunch and refreshment visit Tawang War Memorial and evening at leisure. Overnight at Tawang.

 

  • Day 09 Tawang – Bumla Pass, Madhuri (ShunGatser) Lake & PTSO Lake – Tawang

Tawang (10000 Ft / 3048 Mts)

Today morning after early breakfast, you will drive to Bumla Pass which is located about 37 km away from Tawang at the Indo-China border over 15,200 ft above sea level. A further drive will take you to visit high altitude lake called as Shunga-tser Lake, popularly known as Madhuri Lake located 35, kms away from Tawang near the China Border. The drive to Shunga-tser Lake is full of thrill and one can still see the war bankers that had been used during the Chinese aggression in 1962. Nestled amidst the pristine mountains and picturesque surrounding, It was formed in the aftermath of the 1950 earthquake. Prior to the earthquake, this piece of land used to be employed as the grazing ground for the cattle. The evidence of it can be seen in the protruding trunks of the dead trees from the middle of the lake. The lake has been under supervision of Army men, who have also arranged for a cafeteria nearby. Tourists can relish on the delicious Momos, Maggis topped with a cup of tasty coffee or tea. Tourists can also take to trekking around the lake while enjoying the gentle lashes of the pleasant breeze around. During return take a photo stop at the beautiful PTSO lake en route (17 kms away from Tawang, Pangong Tang Tso Lake popularly known as PT Tso which is an extremely scenic drive with bird’s eye view of the township below). Later in the afternoon drive back to hotel. On the way back visit Ani Gompha. Rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

  1. Our vehicles are not allowed to do PTSo lake, Madhuri lake & Bumla Pass Sightseeing. Local vehicle will be provided for the same. We have no control on this local vehicle which may be a combination of Non AC Tat Sumo/Xylo etc.
  2. Bumla la pass is a border between India & China, hence additional formalities are involved, Kindly refer enter & documentation formalities

 

  • Day 10 Tawang – Dirang

Dirang (5120 Ft / 1560 Mts, 160 Kms / 06 to 07 Hrs drive approx

After breakfast drive to Diranga. On arrival at Dirang, check in and over night at hotel.

 

  • Day 11 Dirang – Tezpur

Tezpur (160 Ft / 48 Mts, 190 Kms / 06 to 7 Hrs drive approx)

After breakfast, today you drive to Tezpur, On arrival checkin to the hotel. Overnight inTezpur. 

 

  • Day 12 Tezpur – Shillong

Shillong (5002 Ft / 1525 Mts, 240 Kms / 06to 07 Hrs drive approx)

After an early breakfast drive to Shillong en route visit Umium Lake. Upon reaching checkin to the hotel. Overnight at Shillong.

 

  • Day 14 Shillong- Excursion to Mwaphlang + Shillong local Sightseeing – Shillong  

Mwaphlang (4906 Ft / 1496 Mts, 30 Kms / 01 to 01 ½ Hrs drive approx oneway from Shillong)

After breakfast go for a excursion to Mawphlang Sacred Forest. Later proceed for the local sightseeing visit Don Bosco Museum (Sunday Closed), Ward’s Lake (Closed on Tuesday) located at the heart of the city which is popular for its garden walks and boating & Cathedral of Mary. Overnight Stay at Shillong.

 

  • Day 13 Shillong – Excursion Laitlum Canyons &  Krangsuri – Shillong  

Laitlum Canyons (4907 Ft / 1496 Mts, 25 Kms / 45 Minutes to 01Hrs drive from Shillong)

Krangsuri (3000 Ft / 915 Mts, 85 Kms / 03 ½ to 04 Hrs drive)

Shillong (5002 Ft / 1525 Mts, 90 Kms / 03 to 04 Hrs drive from Krangshuri) 

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer Laitum Canyons. Witness the breathtaking Landscape of Laitlum canyons nestled in the majestic hills of Meghalaya at a distance of 25 kms from Shillong. 

Later proceed to Krangsuri Water fall (Jowai). After enjoy the beauty of falls drive back to Shillong. Check in & Overnight stay at Shillong.

  

  • Day 15 Shillong – Mawlynnong – Dawki – Cherrapunjee (Long & Tiring Day)    

Mawlynnong (4906 Ft / 1496 Mts, 80 Kms / 03 to 04 Hrs drive approx oneway from Cherrapunjee)

Dawki Lake (5904 Ft / 1800 Mts, 30 Kms / 01 to 02 Hrs drive approx oneway from Mawlynnong)

Cherrapunjee (4690Ft / 1430 Mts, 90 Kms / 03 to 04 Hrs drive approx oneway from Dawki Lake)

Wake up early and have your breakfast and drive to Mawlynnong. Today you can explore the cleanest village Mawlynnong. You can take the sky walk to have a spectacular view of the Single living Root Bridge.

After lunch drive to Dawki. Dawki is the gateway to Bangladesh where major export and import transactions take place. It is a splendid drive of 30 kilometers passing through deep gorges and ravines, which is certainly a thrilling experience. On approaching Dawki is the Umngot River, The Umngot River is the natural boundary between Ri Pnar or Jaintia Hills with Hima Khyrim of Khasi hills over which a single span suspension bridge was constructed. Drive to Cherrapunjee for overnight stay.

 

  • Day 16 Cherrapunjee – Double Decker – Cherrapunjee (Closed on Sunday)   

Cherrapunjee (4690 Ft / 1430 Mts)

After breakfast go for a trek to Double Decker Living Root Bridge – 3 to 4 hours walk oneway from the starting point (depending on the Fitness of the guest). The distance cover is around 4 km one-way with down and up of 1000 feet height approx. This trek goes downhill through village Sohsarat. The steps are relatively steeper in two short stretches. Half the distance is covered by steps going downhill. Then there is a jungle path going along the sides of the hill leading to the Living Root Bridge with a few steps after short stretches of sloping foot path. Moss thrives on these sandstone steps during the monsoon and makes them slippery, hence one need to be extra careful. Later trek back to the starting point and then board your vehicle to drive back to the hotel. Overnight at Cherrapunjee.

  1. Rainbow waterfalls is further 01 hour walk from Double Decker Route Bridge Point. In case,  guests want to cover,  is based on individual choice & fitness level, they need to inform the driver accordingl

Cherrapunjee – Local Sightseeing – Cherrapunjee  

Cherrapunjee (4690Ft / 1430 Mts)

After breakfast visit – Garden of Caves, Arwah Cave / Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sisters Falls and Nohkalikai Falls. Later drive back to hotel. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.

 

  • Day 17 Cherrapunjee – Guwahati

Guwahati (1148 Ft / 350 Mts, 200 Kms / 05 to 07 Hrs drive approx)

After breakfast drive to Guwahati. On time in the evening go for River Cruise (on direct payment & subjected to operational condition). Upon reaching, checkin & over night at Guwahati.

  • Day 01   Dibrugarh Airport (DIB) – Dibrugarh

Dibrugarh (355 Ft / 108 Mts, 15 Kms / 30 minutes to 01 Hrs dive approx)

Arrive Dibrugarh Airport (DIB) and then drive to Hotel. Upon reaching, check-in to the Hotel. Evening free at leisure to visit local market on foot. Overnight at the Hotel.

  • Day 02 Dibrugarh –  Mon

After breakfast, checkout from the hotel then drive to Mon. On reaching Mon check in to Guest house. Later go for walking tour of the village. Overnight at the guest house.

  • Day 03 Mon – Excursion to Lungwa

Lungwa  (40 Kms / 02 drive approx)

This morning drive to Lungwa village, One of the biggest villages in Mon district, the village straddles the international boundary between India and Myanmar with half of the Angh’s houses falling within India and the remainder in Burma. En route we visit Tang Village. Later in the afternoon return to Mon. Overnight at the guest house.

  • Day 04 Mon – Sivasagar – Mokokchung

Mokokchung (4347 Ft / 1325 Mts, 220 kms / 07 to 08 hrs approx) 

Early morning start with packed breakfast, checkout from the hotel then drive to Mokokchung via Sivasagar. At Sivasagar visit Charai Deo, Ahom King Palace, Talatal Ghar, Rang Ghar. Later drive to Mokokchung. Overnight at Mokokchung.

  • Day 05 Mokokchung Sightseeing –  Kohima

  • Day 07 Kohima – Dimapur

Dimapur (480 Ft / 145 Mts, 78 Kms / 03 to 04 Hrs drive approx)

This morning after breakfast drive to Dimapur. The economy capital of Nagaland, Dimapur was once the capital of the Kachari kingdom. The name itself derived from the Kachari dialect; ‘di’ Meaning River, ‘ma’ meaning great and ‘pur’ meaning city. The History of Dimapur dated back to the age of Mahabharata, where the second Pandava, Bheema while in exile, tied the weeding knot with the Kachari princess Hidimba. Thus, the place became known as Hidimbapur. It was during the British that it had got the present name Dimapur.  Arrive Dimapur and check in at hotel. Afternoon visit Ruins of Kachari Kingdom. In evening spend time at Dimapur Market – One of the landmarks of the town is the famous market near the railway station where one can buy the goods imported from Myanmar. Overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 08 Dimapur – Dimapur Airport (DMU for onward connection
